The title song of Watson's 2008 objective classical guitar album, Time For Change, is a masterpiece demonstrating not only Watson's finesse as a composer, but particularly showcases many of the unique and original classical guitar finger-style techniques Watson has invented, and words can hardly describe the cut you will hear of this moody, dark rapid-fire trem, to uplifting and inspirational movements, clever statements of harmonics, accompanied by Charles Watson's synthesizer keyboard instrumentation. This young man has, indeed, magical hands, soul of a fire dragon, and profoundly well tuned mind translated into a powerful meditation on classical guitar, Time For Change. Time for Change is a deeply emotional and moving instrumental, a meditation, Charles says, for Planet Earth. Think about it. Feel it, hear it, sustain it, become the song and understand the ethereal fluid physics of the spheres in balance at their best in heart and mind, a transmutation of the random chaos of entropy to a Holistic Work of Art in Sound. And when in such balance, life is not a hapless stream of events, but a reality of thoughtful finesse in the hands of one who rides the waves of constant change. It's the seasons of the universe replenishing continuum renewal, it's being in touch with the elements, it's restoration, and realization that it's time, Time For Change. Watson's cornucopia demo album of classical guitar and pop works, Path of the Raven, demonstrated a wide variety of his scoring and midi programming instrumentation, from keyboards to hand drums, composition, arrangement, and performance level of this unique individual, Charles E. Watson Jr., also known as C. E. Watson among classical guitarists. Charles gained the knowing ear of the greatest and most beloved Legendary Producer, Robert Metzgar.
Time For Change was a signature Watson concept in late 2005, and the title cut
for his 'next' classical guitar album evolved along with putting together a
top-notch group of musicians to record with him ... an album to take classical
