THE PLAYERS
Charles E. Watson GUITARIST / KEYBOARDS / BACKUP and HARMONY VOCALS (b. 1977 Santa
Barbara, CA & Arizona resident) is a North American composer and guitarist. A
child prodigy from a family line of musicians and artists, he began
composing and virtuoso public and professional performance on the guitar at age
9. Watson is also an accomplished pianist and known for his
transcriptions for guitar of piano masterpieces from the Romantic and 20th
Century musical eras and for his contemporary scores and symphonic
productions for modern dance troupes. A
second generation student of Joe Pass, he has been teaching theory,
technique, and performance for piano, guitars, and drums at Arizona's foremost
music academy, Arizona Music Academy in Tempe, AZ since 2000. A seasoned
guitarist, performer,
accomplished technician in the recording studio, he performs at many venues as a solo
classical guitar artist as well as touring with his band, Charles Watson
& Hollow Council.

Shane Walker DRUMMER (b. 1977, Arizona resident)
Shane Walker has played and studied drums since
he was 5 years old and teaches beginner, intermediate, and advanced drums at
Arizona Music Academy, Arizona's foremost music school in Tempe, AZ.
Shane has played in numerous bands throughout
his life and came onboard with Charles Watson & Hollow Council in 2008. He is degreed in
music studies and a proficient musician, a drummer who is all about
the details and experienced in all genres and styles of music and drumming.
He is also plays trombone, guitar, and bass. For Shane, music is a way of
life. His knowledge, skill, and adeptness at drumming marks him as one of
the greatest drummers of the 21st century; a seasoned performer,
his arrangements are progressive and extraordinarily dynamic.
Josh Cummings BASSIST / HAND DRUMS / BACKUP and HARMONY VOCALS (b. 1977 Fort Sill, OK,
Arizona resident) Josh Cummings is an all around musician, playing electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, is an accomplished vocalist,
and
Josh plays conga, bongo, djembe and doumbek hand drums, as well as a variety
of African, Egyptian, and Celtic drums, and has played hand drums with touring
Renaissance Festivals for almost a decade. Josh previously was bassist and backup vocalist
for Charles Watson's band Occision for 3 years. Josh Cummings and Charles
Watson, as a hand drummer and guitarist duo eclectic act, have also
performed across the Phoenix valley as the Van Gogh Effect since 2005
